Hortonworks offers hadoop and big data university courses and partners with accredited colleges and universities to meet those needs. The Hortonworks University Academic Program enables students to obtain authorized hadoop big data training that will prepare them for certification, bolstering their employment opportunities with firms seeking skilled Hadoop professionals.
Becoming an Academic Partner is easy. There is no cost to join; student materials are purchased directly from our book vendor. Instructors may prepare to teach materials at their own pace using our materials, or registering for either online or live training. Hortonworks’ hadoop and big data university course materials may not be altered, but institutions are free to add supplemental content.
Hortonworks provides our students with a strong foundation to work in the challenging field of analytics. Bryant University is very excited about being able to partner with Hortonworks to bring leading edge big data technology to our more than 200 applied analytics majors.
